Wireless is entering the factory floor for real, and we are now looking for a Business Line Director Wireless to help bring Anybus Wireless products to the next level by defining clear business and product strategy to generate profitable growth and take lead on the future commercial and technical success. 



About the role 

Your mission will be to work close to customers identifying business opportunities and to lead a team of four technically qualified colleagues. In this role you will build trust and create fruitful cross-functional cooperation with Market Units to make wireless solutions a part of the offer. The Business Line Director reports to the General Manager of Business Unit Anybus and contributes actively in the Anybus Management Team. 

Main responsibilities and tasks 

Strategic responsibility for complete product offer including product visions, roadmaps and portfolio  
Overall responsibility for complete product offers go-to-market, pricing, profitability and business model evolution 
Segmentation of markets and customers into groups sharing common problems. Analysis and prioritization to identify the most attractive targets for the offering. 
Defining concrete use cases and value propositions of the offer 
The operational leadership of the department (including normal personnel responsibilities, budgeting and follow-up  
The strategic leadership of the department, such as market and competitive analyses, product and services portfolio analyses, development of strategic competences  
Active engagement in customer dialogue to understand current and future customer needs. 


About you 

You are team-oriented with high energy and drive to identify and develop competitive solutions for your customers needs. You understand portfolio and product management as well as business related challenges and goals in an international environment. 

 

Your background and skills: 

Work experience within product management in B2B, preferably from tech industry 
Experience and interest in leading teams 
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and writing skills 
A structured, goal oriented and a collaborative mindset 
University degree in an appropriate area 
As this is an international role, you will need to be fluent in both spoken and written English 
Preferably you have an understanding of wireless technologies such as BLE, Wifi, LTE and 5G
