Placement for this position will be our new office in Mölndal but will require frequent business travels to our other offices and sites around Europe.

Job description
As a Business Manager at HPL, you will build and lead a new multi-functional Business Team, responsible for one of our new and soon to be largest customers. We are looking for a leader with a high level of initiative and self-motivation paired with excellent communication skills. This role and this team will be an integrated part of our strategy and where we are heading moving forward.
Your initial responsibility will be to oversee the successful deployment of this new business, ensuring that our professional partner experience a seamless transition and at the same time securing that we can achieve our common operational goals on a day-to-day basis. During this first phase, you need to build processes and collaborate with other teams at HPL and HMG, including Product, Logistic Operations, and IT to be successful.
Once implemented, it will be you and your team that are responsible for all aspects of this new business, running the operations and overseeing the processes with the main task to deliver on our set goals.
It is expected that you can leverage from your and your team’s experience and that you create an entrepreneurial environment that allows for you to systematically identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and profitability for HPL and its partners.
Your main tasks and deliveries:
Serve as the primary point of contact for partners and other stakeholders during the implementation phase, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
Once the new business is implemented, lead the new business team. We expect you to be a skilled leader and communicator that creates a team that sets the standard for our business.
Monitor sales, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management on status, performance and actions.
Build strong relationships at all levels in the customer’s organization in order to understand their needs and requirements and develop these to new business opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A number of years proven experience in project management, preferably within the automotive or spare parts industry.
Experience of relation-based corporate sales paired with first-rate negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to lead, educate and develop people and processes in your area of competence. Experience of leading senior, multi-functional teams is an advantage.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to details.
Relevant university degree and business experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English, Italian a bonus.
