About the role
As a Business Manager, you will primarily have a commercial responsibility for existing business with one of our largest customers. You will be responsible for business development of current product/program portfolio which entails quoting technical changes, improvement work and other commercial negotiations with the customer. Your duties include business control such as updates and control of price lists, volumes, and follow-up of key figures. You are expected to be present with the customer and support in any technical and contractual issues.
You will be will be working in a high performing team with keen and dynamic cooperation. You will be able to take strong ownership of your work with the support of your operative manager and team. In a high paced environment and rapidly changing customer demands, you will be a key player in the running relations to customers and the sustainability of the business.
As the liaison between IAC and the customer, you will be in a prime position to identify business opportunities and improvements to the current delivery. You will be supporting internal stakeholders in aligning engineering, pricing, sales management and other functions to the customer.
In your role as Business Manager, your main tasks will include:
- Customer communication and negotiation
- Providing complete quote package and give recommendation considering cost, capital and price
- Keep track of the business account, communicate improvement suggestions and report the status
Other responsibilities include development of existing business, customer interface, negotiation of issues, program team member, product assessment, competitive analysis and market evaluation.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with experience from our industry or customer base. You have a Bachelor´s degree or equivalent work experience with some understanding of our product, processes, technology and financial requirements
Furthermore, we see that you have excellent inter-personal skills in terms of customer relations and cooperation. You will work in a dynamic environment and will need strong decision making skills. You are thorough and analytical and comfortable working to deadlines.
Important for the role:
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent job related experience
- Knowledge of customer base, company product, processes, technology and financial requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in the automotive industry, ideally in business management with in a suitably / substantially sized regional or global organisation.
