Business Manager to Nasdaq Clearing
Nasdaq Clearing is a leading, EMIR authorized, clearing house providing central counterparty clearing for a broad range of markets and asset classes. Nasdaq Clearing is part of Nasdaq - a leading provider of trading and clearing services, exchange and clearing technology, information and public company services across six continents.
Nasdaq Clearing offers central counterparty clearing services for Nasdaq Commodities, Nasdaq Derivatives Markets, and Fish Pool. The offering includes clearing of both exchange-traded and OTC contracts as well as a repo clearing service.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Business Manager for Nasdaq Clearing, you will have the opportunity to utilize your strong business acumen in providing business support to Nasdaq Clearings President and CEO and the management team to drive the business forward. This will be a highly dynamic position, which will require you to be well-organized, solutions oriented and collaborate well with others. In this role, you will:
act as a central point of contact and co-ordination within the Nasdaq Clearing Management team, Risk Management teams and the Operations teams, working in partnership with the business across a broad spectrum of topics and initiatives
assist in the co-ordination and support of the CCPs governance and business forums
provide proactive and constructive challenge in all aspects of the role, encouraging best practice and striving for consistency in the work between different teams
provide extensive analytical and presentation support to the President of the CCP and other senior staff for use at business forums, both internally and externally
lead ad-hoc deep dives and analysis of the CCP businesses and processes, driving efficiency and cost savings
drive and support the ongoing development of the CCPs key initiatives
be the key liaison to the Finance team and work with them on various issues such as budgeting and long-range planning
provide support to key stakeholders on infrastructure and process improvement initiatives
We expect you to have:
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other relevant field
Relevant experience from the financial industry
Experience in conducting financial analysis to assist the organizations financial planning and budgeting processes
High proficiency in English, both written and spoken - required for reporting to various governance forums, regulatory bodies and the board
Highly proficient in creating presentation material and analysis for senior/board level audiences
It would be great if you have:
Experience and knowledge in derivatives and clearing
Proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken
