Are you interested in starting an exciting journey of building in-house competence that in the end will help Scania´s salesmen to be more competitive?
 
We are a department within Sales & Marketing with the mission to provide distributors around the world with a global product structure to be adopted to local needs.
 
Today we are consisting of eight people that are an important part of the introduction of Scania´s new truck generation. We are now looking for a Business Modeller that together with a very competent team can help our distributors and salesmen to have even more efficient sales tools.  
 
Work description
As a Business Modeller you are responsible for finding and analysing customer needs connected to Scania’s sales tool. The demands come from the users of the sales tool, such as distributors, and internally from Scania R&D, IT and Marketing. The demands are to be adapted into technical solutions in the sales system. You will have the opportunity, in cooperation with the rest of the team, to influence what solution is most suitable both for a short term and for future development.
 
The daily work of a Business Modeller varies and consists of maintaining, improving, testing and developing new functionalities in the system. You will both need to have the overall view of the sales tool as well as be the expert on the details.
 
The position provides great opportunity to get in contact with many different parts of the Scania organisation. As the users of the sales tool are positioned all over the world, you will have frequent international contacts and the possibility to travel.
 
Profile
Analytical skills, a structured approach and the understanding of how the small details affect the bigger picture are required. You have good communication skills and like to work cross functional.
As a person you are curious and a “doer”. You are motivated by finding the best solution for the customer, and improving the processes.
 
An academic degree in business, engineering or equivalent is required as well as a good level of English. Technical interest is an advantage, but most important qualities are personality and mind set.
