In Purchasing Development, our assignment goes hand and hand with the IKEA Business Idea, created 75 years ago, as we are responsible to produce the wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them.
Affordability, accessibility, sustainability and quality are our main priorities. We develop and execute sourcing strategies and thus meet the supply markets/industries in 6 different Category Areas. We are a true global organization with 1400 co-workers placed in 27 different locations, close to the suppliers and the market. The business development teams work close together with both suppliers and Product Development.
Right now, we are looking for a Business Navigation Manager to join our amazing team!
In the Business Navigation team, we navigate and steer the business towards sustained long term profitability by being driven by the IKEA business idea, culture, and values, with a focus on sustainable performance. We support business leaders with right information at the right time. We lead and support the development of the report landscape, report applications, KPI’s, system solutions and ways to steer and follow up business performance.
You will have a small Business Navigation team as direct report and in matrix lead Business Navigation function in our 6 Category Areas. You will also lead our Business Information Purchasing team based in PLA (Purchase Logistic Areas).
You will report to the Purchasing Development Manager and be part of Purchasing Development Management. The position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden. Other locations connected to Purchasing Development locations can be considered.
As Business Navigator Manager you will enable and support in driving business performance. Support in creating and implementing the strategic business plans, securing that relevant business goals are set in line with the Purchasing strategy. Secure the overall cost and resource allocation, cost frame, forecast, delivering to the business goals and initiate, lead and support the development of new ways of working, with focus on simplicity, providing relevant and user-friendly business information standardized for all Purchasing Development.
You will also be responsible to lead and develop the Business Navigation team and Business Information Purchasing team. Set performance criteria, report regularly with relevant reporting and analyzes, steering all involved organizations towards achieving results. Contribute to establish a framework for defining, monitoring and mitigating risks on trade barriers, market and political risks as well as volatility in currency and raw materials.
Secure Business Contingency Plans are in place and well-communicated with relevant information to stakeholders and lead and support implementation of portfolio- and project management within Purchasing Development.
You will report to the Purchasing Development Manager.
