With over 350 co-workers and 250 suppliers and partners across the world, Category Area Textile Furnishings drives and develops the global supply chain of textile furnishing products for all IKEA stores globally. This includes everything from bulky products such as mattresses and sofas to carpets, curtains, cushions and felt boxes for storage to mention just a few. 

The characteristics of the businesses and industries in Textile Furnishings brings complexities that need to be addressed simultaneously.  

Now we are looking for a Business Navigation Manager. 

Job Description 

As Business Navigation Manager you will play a central role in steering the business towards growth and goal achievements. You lead and develop the business navigation team, and work closely with the business leaders to spot business opportunities as well as business risks. You thrive on change, use it as opportunity to grow yourself your team and the business. As Business Navigation Manager.

You are part of the Category Area management team and the Business Navigation matrix in Purchasing Development. You report to the Textile Furnishings Category Area Manager. 
 
In your role you will: 
Drive business development by providing analysis, reports, tools, and relevant business insights.  

Set relevant performance criteria and provide navigation directions to achieve and follow up results and goals 
Ensure that the budget and forecast are accurate and reliable, meeting business needs, with agreed business objectives 
Actively engage and build trustful relationships with business partners across the Inter IKEA Core Businesses 
Lead and develop the Business Navigation team in Category Area Textile Furnishings 
For you to be successful in the job as Business Navigation Manager, we think it is important that:

You have a solid business understanding of the purchasing environment and can translate long-term priorities into clearly defined business objectives. 
You are curious, open-minded and are great in building partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and support across business areas/functions.

You can simplify complex matters and inspire others to see opportunities.  
English is our corporate language, the ability to express yourself in English is a prerequisite, both in written and verbal
