As our future Business Navigator in Commercial area, we are looking for you who are passionate about creating an Ingka fit for the future. We believe that you have Ingka business experience from an IKEA retail market Service office and preferably also store. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience from business navigation working with both commercial and financial processes, in particular retail pricing Commercial Navigation. Moreover, you have proven track record in delivering under time pressure and strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to lead and influence. You have proven analytical skills combined with an ability to communicate figures in an understandable and inspiring way and strong and well proven collaboration skills.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• broad knowledge of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity, Culture & Values and strategic directions
• in depth knowledge of the IKEA range, commercial priorities and how these connects to the 10 jobs in 3 years
• in depth knowledge of how sales and gross margin is optimized in the different sales channels and how we measure commercial success throughout the total IKEA value chain
• good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context
• good knowledge of the IKEA strategic landscape and business direction
• in depth knowledge of the IKEA business processes, tools and cycles
To be successful in this position, you should pay attention to details. You need to be analytical to examine data, determine cause & effects and to draw conclusion. You are result-oriented, focused and good at building alliances and working together with the team and other stakeholders, inside as well as outside of IKEA. We believe that you communicate in clear and straight forward way.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Retail Business Navigator, you are a pro-active speaking partner in strategic and operational development partner with a multi-dimensional view of the business, connecting the needs of customers and the organisation with a complete overview of the profit & loss.
The key Business Navigator assignments correspond to the global common competence profile and are partly listed below.
• Key contributor to the assigned area of competence, coordinating and working with all KPI owners to secure delivery of overall potential identified in the business plan; identifying growth, margin and cost potentials through benchmarking, striving for constant improvements and closing of the performance gap
• Responsible for the analysis and insights, working closely with key stakeholders
• Support markets by providing ways of working, tools and methods for business navigation in a multichannel environment
• Contribute with insight and ideas to the development of business opportunities, new technologies and innovations and promote the use of business case thinking
• Contribute in driving projects and business initiatives forwards from a broad business navigation point of view
• Support, inspire and challenge colleagues in the team to identify and evaluate business opportunities to improve ways of working, simplify and improve cost
• Support and maintain an effective connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group
• Support cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach.

Retail Business Navigation is part of the new Group Function Business Steering. We are experts in business steering; securing that profit gives us the resources to grow and being a purpose driven company, delivering towards our financial direction and 10 jobs in 3 years, by advanced automated tools with real-time data as well as high accuracy in predictive analytics.
Our purpose in Retail Business Navigation Business Commercial is to create enhance customer value, good growth and optimise long term business performance for IKEA Retail, by enabling better business decisions, securing efficiency and leading in accordance with financial and business strategies. This includes securing business performance, a safe and secure environment in compliance with laws, policies and standards and process.
In this role you will report to the Business Navigation Team Leader. The place of work is Malmö.
