Reporting to our Digital People Product Domain Manager, this role is to facilitate the development of the People domain strategy and implement the strategy in daily operations. The role will also streamline operations and communication across the different subdomains and between the different functions we work with. The position will be critical in setting structures to be more effective as a team, both in operations and in decision-making, and to integrating with many teams and IKEA companies.
To be successful, we believe you need previous knowledge and experience from:
Managing executive stakeholders and ability to present, engage and communicate with senior audiences
Deep program management skills and understanding of agile ways of working
Well-versed in communications; explaining complex topics in simple words
Driving operational efficiency improvements by uncovering pain points and bringing senior leaders together to define a better way forward
Empathetic and a human leader
You have very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships. You structure, plan and find practical solutions while finding new ways of doing things. You stimulate creative ideas and perspectives that add value.
You also have the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of the People domain as an integrated part of the business.

A day in your life with us
As part of the Global People Domain leadership team, you will lead and facilitate the development of the domain strategies and will streamline operations as well as communications on behalf of the domain in close collaboration with other Business Operations Leaders, management teams in Digital and other functions across the organization.
You assess, lead and follow up on strategic and operational initiatives proactively and independently. You are deeply involved and aware of all movements within our teams – and directly responsible for their alignment with the larger Ingka and IKEA-wide strategies.
Facilitate the strategic landscape development for the People Domain - ensuring alignment of functional strategies into Digital, Ingka, and IKEA wide strategic frames
Lead coordination, documentation, and communication of key measurements and visualizations of People domain outcomes.
Drive and coordinate operational initiatives for the team, e.g. consolidate domain overall fiscal performance, domain-wide budgets, monthly tertial, and annual budgeting and forecasting, hiring onboarding planning and tracking, and communication efforts within the domain, ensuring that communication material is well structured and delivered
Coordinate, lead, and develop preparations for larger meetings and events, in collaboration with the domain leadership as relevant
Organize and facilitate domain management meetings with agenda, actions and follow up enabling efficient functioning of the domain.
