About you
We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about developing people and business in an omnichannel environment. You have 5 or more years of experience from Vendor Management, where you have been responsible to lead supplier strategy, governance, and follow-up. Ideally, you also bring experience from business performance/portfolio management, where you have contributed to create a high level of transparency of cost development and business results
We believe that you are someone who can build trustful relationships with business partners, stakeholders and franchisees and facilitates collaboration across Inter IKEA Group, holding things together even when they get complex or unclear. You enjoy working in a high paced environment and you have a proven ability to lead, coach, challenge, and support people to grow.
You are structured with excellent follow through. You take responsibility, support others, and deliver your work with a sense of urgency. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are some of the qualities you bring with you and working with many different people together across the world gives you a lot of energy.

We are moving into a new chapter with an ambition to provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated into IKEA value chain and supporting the omnichannel IKEA Concept. About the role
As Business Operations Manager you will together with your team be responsible for Vendor Management, financial and business performance follow-up, as well as the overall communication strategy.
Along with the management team you will lead Retail Operation Solutions & Support organisation on a digital transformation journey aiming to provide an omnichannel retail package. This includes introducing a product-oriented delivery setup, scaling the organisation through a significant increase of both skilled co-workers, as well as new and existing suppliers.
One of your primary responsibilities is to lead a team of co-workers specialized in business controlling, communications, vendor, and portfolio management, to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments.
You are responsible for supplier strategy, governance, and follow-up and will be working closely with management team colleagues to ensure external resources are secured according to the business needs.
You and your team will work in close cooperation with franchisees and be in regular contact with stakeholders on these markets. You will also work closely together with peers across the totality of Core Business Franchise and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. There may be some international travel required for this role. You will report to the ROSS Manager.
