Business Owner

Paradox Interactive AB is now looking for a dedicated Business Owner to join the Business and Marketing team in Stockholm. If you have a profound interest in driving business and innovation in a fast-growing company this might be an opportunity for you.


As a Business Owner you are the leader and driver of one or multiple Paradox Interactive franchises. To achieve this, you work with a number of disciplines within the Business and Marketing department, as well as in close collaboration with the development studio(s). The Business Owner is tasked to drive business, growth and innovation for Paradox Interactive with the goals of increasing revenue and profit for your franchise. In this role you will have a key role in ensuring set ambitions and targets for the assigned franchise are met.


Responsibilities
● Owner of the PnL for all live products within the franchise for third parties. Shared PnL responsibility and ownership with Studio Manager(s) for first party studios.
● In charge of executing on set goals to meet the company's overall growth targets and specific KPIs for the franchise.
● In charge of finding opportunities for new business initiatives for the franchise(s), both internally and externally.
● Experiment with new business initiatives to drive future revenue and growth.
● Participates in key gate meetings for franchise specific games in development, to ensure they meet the franchise goals and direction.


Requirements
● Senior experience in gaming product management and business development, or at least 5+ years of experience within product development, marketing or production.
● Experience in releasing gaming products to the market.
● A good understanding of business and budgeting.
● Experience as a team lead or manager.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Proficiency in English both written and verbal.


On a personal level you have a driven and problem solving approach. You have a passion for the games within the franchise and you understand the players and motivations behind them.
