Business Process Owner within Scania Purchasing

Business Process Owner within Scania Purchasing

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. This will require new ways of thinking and working. We need to develop the capabilities to deliver complete solutions with speed and flexibility in close customer collaboration and do this in a way that inspires and empowers our employees.

Do you want to be a part of driving this business transformation for Scania Purchasing and develop the future ways of working? Do you want to be a part of a creative and new thinking team where we love uncertainties and understand that change is the only constant? If so, you may be the one we are looking for.

Who are we and what do we do?

We work with improving and developing new processes, methods, tools and systems for Purchasing. We focus on optimizing flow and enabling sourcing for Scania and TRATON in a Global context. To make this happen we are currently developing our new System Landscape where this team plays an important role to set the future way of working for Purchasing.

Today we are 24 Business Developers divided into three teams and located in our central Purchasing office in Södertälje. Based on the exciting changes we are facing we are now looking for new awesome colleagues.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a true team player with a passion to improve how things can be done. You dare to challenge and think beyond the normal situation in order to foresee future customer needs. You thrive in a changing and sometimes unclear environment where you take your own initiatives to understand which direction to go and you have the skill to easily involve and lead others.

You have minimum 5 years of experience from working within Purchasing and preferably experience from different companies or areas (direct material, indirect material and/or services & logistics). You have great knowledge about Source to Pay processes, experience in SAP and have preferably been involved in change management projects connected to these. You have a natural curiosity to also understand other stakeholders interests (Finance, Logistics, Quality etc) or even experience from working in these areas. You have a university degree and you are fluent in English since this is our common company language.

What will you be doing?

• Participate in and partly drive the change of our current Purchasing system landscape to SAP and validate if SAP best practices should apply or if changes are required
• Talk to users, understand their needs and continuously share progress on changes with them
• Prepare and facilitate workshops with different stakeholders to gather requirements and work out solutions
• Analyze and break down complex material and data, draw conclusions and initiate actions
• Document results of changes connected to processes and methods in a user-friendly way
• Understand how changes will impact users and work out proposals for communication, training etc.

Who am I as your future manager?

As a leader, I focus on showing the direction and have full trust in the team to define the way to get there. People and team development genuinely motivate me and I encourage my employees to develop in the areas they truly enjoy and where they have their strengths. I believe that this together with great team collaboration will lead to the best possible results for the team. I have worked within Scania Purchasing for 11 years and the last 6 years in a manager position. I am continuously developing and want to do this together with you!
