Business Product Engineer

Professional Consulting is looking for a Product Engineer to assist in the Replacer for paternity leave Product Engineer.
The scope of the consultant services is to assist our customer in Construction and product documentation, including product requirements and creating 3D models. Contacts with Product Engineers and trading technicians regarding the implementation of relevant product requirements. Support the development team in risk assessments and quality gate checks. The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like: Work as Product Engineer in the lighting development team for portables. Main assignment is to be responsible for the product documentation in the team for portable lamps.

We are looking for you with knowledge in: Product documentation, 3D modelling (CAD, solidworks), system knowledge (eg PLUS or similar), word, excel, ppt, knowledge working with component lists and setting product requirements.

We wish that you have experience in: Product development: setting product requirements, preferably for lighting products or other electrical/electronic products. Experience from working with construction and solidworks, preferably also knowledge in testing.

Following competences must be fulfilled:
- Knowledge of product development, Junior skills
- Knowledge in product documentation and setting product requirements, Junior skills
- CAD/Solidworks/3D modelling, Junior skills
- General knowledge of computer systems, Junior skills

Other desirable skills:
- Strong ability to work independently
- Structured, organized and a keen eye for detail
- High precision in delivery with focus on quality

Project start date:
2014-08-18, with no flexibility.

Project end date:
2014-11-16

Total hours:
520 h. There is no expectation of overtime or on-call work.

The primary working site will be:
Älmhult, Sweden

There is no possibility for remote/off-site work.
There is [much/some/none] travel required outside the primary working site(s).
