The Purchasing Strategy & Digitalization function within Volvo Group Purchasing is a Centre of Excellence. We are responsible for driving and facilitating the strategic direction of purchasing on behalf of Executive Management Team.


PS&D are, together with relevant line functions, driving efficiency within digitalization, governance, harmonization, group synergies, continuous improvements and digital & IT projects to enable business value. We work proactively with change management and transformation in collaboration with GTP line functions.
Head of Purchasing Strategy & Digitalization is also hosting Volvo Group Purchasing India organization on behalf of CPO of Volvo Group & Head of GTP

You are a passionate, value driven Product Manager with a proven record of delivering digital products to achieve transformation. You speak the language of Digital & IT organizations as well as understand the needs of a purchasing organization.
The position requires great skills in terms of communication and collaboration.
You are ambitious and you make organizations successful in digital transformation.
You are a team player with an ability to understand the strategic roadmap of Volvo Group Purchasing and driving the Product Roadmap along with securing the ownership of the product.
As a person you are positive and enjoy the challenges that a transformation means. Proactiveness is an absolute must.


This position is reporting to the Head of Digital Products.


Main activities & Responsibility
Define, Develop and Drive Product Vision and Strategy
Develop overall Product Roadmap and backlog for the digital product.
Secure the ownership of the product and manage product lifecycle in line with the overall IT roadmap.
Effectively communicating the vision and objectives to motivate team to deliver the priorities and continuously improve ways of working.
Drive Digitalization and enhance the product capability according to the business needs.
Partner with IT to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that IT delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation.
Monitoring the market, Bench Marking and developing competitive analysis.
Responsible to Implement and Deploy the Product Changes to business effectively.

Qualifications
You have good experience developing and launching digital products to the global scope.
You have a strategic mindset and the ability to translate a vision into crisp digital product roadmap and product backlog.
Very good Product Management experience preferably with Purchasing / Procurement Digital Products and Processes.
Excellent decision-making skills, taking into account risks and opportunities, with an ownership mindset
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
Strong Analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills.
You have a background from the digital & IT world or you have had experience in software development architecture or any digital platforms.
Proven experience with stakeholder management, backlog management and change management.
Strong business acumen with very good technical expertise.
Extensive experience in Agile , Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
You have a global mindset and you see diversity as a strength

Excellent interpersonal & networking skills – you are a true connector working in eco-systems
Positive mindset and strong energy to contribute to the success of the Volvo Group
You probably have a MSc in the area of Digitalization / IT and/or Business Administration
At least +5 years of Product Manager or Product Owner or similar experience
