Business & Sales Development Manager

If you prefer talking to people rather than sending emails, and have a basic knowledge in antibody-based methods, this is the job for you. Kromnigon is a biotech company in the Gothenburg area with innovative solutions for multicolor microscopy. Several new products are about to be launched during 2023 and we are looking for a Business & Sales Development Manager to develop marketing strategies and accelerate sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your responsibility is to grow our business, mainly in the European and US market. You will identify sales channels and set up strategies how to target them. Our current focus is to expand sales through distributors and Contract Research Organizations (CRO’s), but also web-based sales directly to end customers. In addition, a key activity will be advancing our customer support by establishing video-based laboratory assistance for customers that are testing Kromnigon products. You will also be responsible for promotion and communication through our home page, LinkedIn, congresses, and other important media channels. The company is at an early stage, which means that you will actively be part of building the team and the company culture.

YOUR PROFILE
Networking and building trust based on scientific knowledge will be crucial for Kromnigon to expand on the market.
Therefore, you should:
enjoy talking, calling, and making videos rather than writing emails
have good computer skills, with knowledge of basic coding, wordpress and social media communication being a merit
have practical experience with immunohistochemistry or other antibody-based labeling methods


ABOUT KROMNIGON
The Nobel Prize in Medicine 2018 (immunotherapy) has made multicolor microscopy a rapidly growing field. Kromnigon has developed a technology, StreptaClick, which easily attaches molecules to antibodies that are used for immunohistochemistry. We are now developing new StreptaClick products with increased signal strength, which will broaden the market potential. Kromnigon has its premises in AstraZeneca BioVentureHub, which is located at AstraZeneca R&D, Mölndal, Sweden.
