Business Service Manager/ Infrastructure Manager

As a Business Service Manager at Schneider Electric you will have the main responsibility to develop our business and operations team to manage the complex relationships between services and the supporting technology infrastructure within the company.

You will act as a partner to the business (Single Point of Contact) with the responsibility for all IT related aspects within specific Business Units in Sweden. You will act as an integrator between the business and IT issues where you secure that the day to day IT-operations as well as ensuring the agreed IT-projects are running in an optimal way.

You agree on needs and expectations from the business side and work with internal and external IT collaborators to realise this. You strengthen the good perception that IT contributes to the evolution of the company and creates opportunities for the business.

Your work arena is broad since it includes cooperation with Managers across business functions, specific project teams, the IPO team as well as external collaborators. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
? Supporting the Swedish management in defining the IT strategy. Lead meetings to priorities actions/projects, identify business needs.
? Support the business in making business cases and simulating IT scenarios.
? Understand the business processes evolution and focus on new requirements and optimization.
? Clarify, validate and challenge needs from key users or process owners.
? Evaluation of SLAs, monitoring and ensuring that services delivered meet business requirements
? Report IT results, incidents, demands and costs.

The position covers specific business areas and their legal entities within Schneider Electric Sweden. It will require frequent business travel to the various sites within the country and some occasional travel within the Nordic countries. You will be part of the Schneider Electric global IT organization (IPO) and report to the IT Manager for the Nordic Baltics.

Qualifications
You hold a bachelor degree, and you have a minimum of 3 years experience from a similar role, and/or several years of experience as an IT project manager for larger projects. You have experience from an international company with a matrix like. You have a good IT technical understanding but not necessarily being the technical expert.
You have an analytical mind-set and a good understanding of business needs which you then translate to your technical partners resulting in optimal solutions for the business. You are structured, able to work independently and good at following up your projects. You are a good communicator able to cooperate with different people and functions. You are fluent in English (both written and oral).
