Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving customers, dealers and distributors in some 60 markets through 16 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. In markets where we operate Financial Services finance about one third of Scania’s truck sales. Over 1000 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 160.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 100 bn SEK of assets financed and more than 100.000 insurance policies. In order to be a competitive player on the market, SFS needs to move from admin focus to sales focus. By harmonising our way of working, with a customer centric approach and with the help of business solutions, we create a digital transformation of our business.
To develop and execute the transformation, the Unity Program has been initiated and the work is now entering a new phase. To better support our journey and organization manage risks and regulatory requirements, we need to strengthen our team with a Business Solution Owner focused on digital solutions focused on risk- and compliance management, This role is a first line of defence role and will play a vital in how the financial service organisation of Scania will work in the future.
Are you our new Business Solution Owner for Risk & Compliance Management?
Do you have a broad experience of working with digital solutions for risk and compliance management? From an international company working with financial solutions and insurance in and outside of Europe? Then you might be our new Business Solution Owner for Risk & Compliance for Scania Financial Services.
Your role:
The role Business Solution Owner is a new role within SFS, and will be part of the operations team in a first line of defence capacity. Since this is a new role, part of the responsibility will be to form the role and ways of working together with stakeholders at Head Office, our global organisation and SFS risk-management and compliance functions.
As a Business Solution Owner you will:
• Shape and lead the digitalisation and integration of global risk & compliance solutions together with central and local stakeholders. You will work closely together with SFS risk-management and compliance functions and you will be a key player in delivering on SFS compliance strategy.
• Participate in the Unity Program and drive the Unity Risk & Compliance Community to secure the industrialisation approach and support the implementation of modularised and common solutions.
• Act as a change agent and provide support to SFS management, business unit management and boards and SFS Global Risk Manager and SFS Director of Compliance.
The work is on a global level and our environment is in constant change. We build and shape as we run. You will therefore need to have a growth mindset and a pragmatic way of working, but at the same time be able to evaluate, prioritise and act in order to build sustainable and robust solutions that can evolve over time. You will also need to be confident in working and leading virtual teams and resources within different parts of Scania and our Service Providers. This to enable the co-creation set up and iterative way of working, that is part of our new set up within SFS.
Competence and experience:
• Advanced knowledge and experience within digital solutions within risk and compliance in the financial services sector with emphasis on AML/KYC.
• Strong leadership skills to build confidence and act as thought leader to build and drive change. This by acting, executing and engaging communities, forums and the management within SFS.
• Experience from transformations within larger enterprises including organisational changes.
• Strong skills and experience with out-sourced solutions involving multiple supplier set-ups and cloud solutions.
• Experience in creating reporting and risk-metrics to allow for a data and risk-driven business steering as well as for risk and compliance management.
• While you will have a strong platform and support, we want you to build momentum, engagement and trust based on your knowledge and communication skills.
• Fluent in English both oral and written, additional language skill will be seen as an advantage.
The job offers international contacts with our global Finance companies. This also means that you are expected to travel from time to time. In this position you will be reporting to the Scania Financial Services Operations Manager at Scania Financial Services. You will be located in Södertälje, Sweden.
