WHO YOU ARE
As our future Business Steering Business Navigator in Customer Fulfillment area, you are passionate about driving business growth and contributing to overall success and results through finding new opportunities and strong collaboration. You act as a business partner, lead through co-creation with colleagues, managers at different levels and other stakeholders, always living our values.
We believe you have few years of experience from business navigation, or you have retail business background with big interest and feeling for numbers. We prefer that you have worked with both commercial and financial processes and have the total omnichannel retail business view.
You have analytical skills combined with an ability to communicate figures in an inspiring and understandable way. You have a strong ability to recognize trends and translate them into business opportunities or identified risks. You enjoy working under time pressure and can easily prioritize your workload.
To succeed in this role, you should have in depth knowledge of the IKEA’s range, commercial priorities and how these connects to the 10 jobs in 3 years. You know in depth how sales and gross margin is optimized in the different sales channels and how we measure commercial success throughout the total IKEA value chain.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The key assignments correspond to the global common competence profile and are partly listed below. The more specific responsibilities and tasks will be assigned as the team builds up.
• Key contributor to the assigned area of competence, coordinating and working with all KPI owners to secure delivery of overall potential identified in the business plan, identifying growth, margin and cost potentials through benchmarking, striving for constant improvements and closing of the performance gap.
• Responsible for the analysis and insights in the assigned area of competence, working closely with key stakeholders to get holistic analyses and relevant recommendations.
• Contribute to new ways of measuring and steering the business performance in a multichannel environment.
• Be a proactive speaking partner in strategic and operational development, closely connected to the business and contributing to improve customer experience.
• Support markets by providing ways of working, tools and methods for business navigation in a multichannel environment.
• Contribute with insight and ideas to the development of business opportunities, new technologies and innovations and promote the use of business case thinking.
• Contribute in driving projects and business initiatives forwards from a broad business navigation point of view.

Retail Business Navigation is part of the new Group Function Business Steering. We are experts in business steering; securing that profit gives us the resources to grow and being a purpose driven company, delivering towards our financial direction and 10 jobs in 3 years, by advanced automated tools with real-time data as well as high accuracy in predictive analytics.
Customer Fulfilment is a fundamental part in making IKEA multichannel retailing a reality. We act as a customer-centric, fully integrated, process-oriented organization with an end-to-end approach. We focus on providing a seamless shopping experience with great quality in all touchpoints for the many people.
As we are on a transformation journey, with continued increasing impact of Customer Fulfilment on our growth as well as bottom line, we are building the Business Navigation team to support this area. You will belong to Retail Business Navigation and will report to Business Navigation Team Leader. The place of work is Malmö.
