What you'll be doing day to day
Top priorities at Ingka the years to come are to ensure Happy Customers, Growing Market Share and OMNI channel profitability. To achieve this many countries have been starting to re-build existing stores with additional fulfilment capabilities. To secure a faster yet successful transformation we wish to strengthen our capacity in Business Navigation.
As a Project Business Navigator at Group Business Steering you will ensure a smooth and speedy deployment process of redesign projects by developing and steer the investments in the countries and capture learning from executed projects in the portfolio. You will collaborate with both countries, several Ingka Group functions such as Group Expansion and Group Customer Fulfilment and especially the re-design team at Group Customer Fulfilment. The overall assignment is to secure a smooth and speedy deployment process of redesign projects in countries from a BN/Finance perspective. We believe there are many opportunities in simplifying ways of working and how we steer our investments.
More specifically, this means you will:
- Support the countries in creating the business cases for redesign projects
- Build up methodology for taking good Business Case assumptions and doing follow ups to verify and adjust the Business Case assumptions
- Work on follow ups for the development projects providing sufficient calculation base for further roll out
- Do above not only for automation projects as important are the “small/smart” design layout projects (step 2-4)
- Evaluate a full store, Market Area or country impact of our redesign activities. (what gives benefits to Customer Fulfilment might lead to additional effort in sales)
- Find and develop additional benefit elements to be put into the Business case model
o i.e how consider P&C culture elements like declining work force, costs of no staff available, recruiting and onboarding new staff, ergonomics costs …..
- Being part of the deployment support meeting revising the individual store project before going to decision forums (PIRC/REC) to enable a smooth process
- Interact and contribute to knowledge build up with country CFOs/Business Navigators
- Being active interaction point between the re-design team and country CFOs/ Business Navigators and into group functions
- Cooperate with Business Navigators of expansion to achieve a Sisan project ROI follow up
- Lead the work how we can create financial incentives to the market managers welcoming store fulfilment and not see it as burden.
You will be based in Malmo and will report to Group Business Steering Business Partner for Group Customer Fulfilment.
