Tasks/Your mission
In this position, you are responsible for conducting market research and feasibility studies to analyze the viability of alternative business development opportunities. You collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, marketing and other information about potential business partners, new markets, products, and services. Simply put - you identify business opportunities so that management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions. You ensure that information is accurate and appropriate for external distribution by for example preparing documents and materials for meetings and negotiations with potential customers and business partners.
You are responsible for the design and performance of the business strategy process in realizing the business unit´s objectives. You ensure the overall design and document process requirements and secure customer and stakeholder agreement while ensuring that the process delivers business value. You identify critical success factors and Key Performance Indicators and set targets to monitor and continuously improve process efficiency. You recognize and implement changes to the process to meet the needs of the business and ensure that process documentation is kept up to date.
As our Business Strategist, you are part of a skilled and diversified team committed to achieving goals and having fun while doing it. You report to Head of Marketing and Business Strategy and will grow a wide network in our business unit and in cross functional projects. This position is placed in our Swedish sites in Hallstahammar or Sandviken with the possibility of working partly from home.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with experience in business development, business strategy, engineering and/or business economics. You have a university degree that is relevant for the role, and excellent communication skills in English. With the freedom to act and take ownership, you drive, collaborate, and empower others to succeed in our common goals. Being analytical and business-oriented, you have both the interest and the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions regarding the continuous development of macro trends, competitive/market intelligence data, and market research.
