Do you want to contribute to shaping the future of transportation and the way Scania tackles a changing world? We at Scania Service Portfolio and Delivery organisation are looking for a new colleague to join our strategy team. We support our management team and our organisation as a whole with strategically important assignments. Our purpose is to find the way forward in a transformative eco-system, and contribute to Scania’s corporate purpose of being a leader in the shift to a sustainable transport system.
Scania’s mission
We are heading into a transformative decade for the transport and logistics sector. Sustainability, digitalisation, electrification and autonomous vehicles are changing the transport eco-system where Scania is a provider of premium products and services. Our purpose as a company is to lead the way towards a sustainable transport system.
To support this we have recently launched our new Service Portfolio and Delivery organisation. It is an agile organisation with an end-to-end responsibility for our global service offering. The organisation comprises 200+ people in Södertälje, but collaborates with our global network and customers in co-creation of customer value.
What is Scania Services?
Our responsibility reaches from the around half a million connected vehicles operating in logistics streams around the world and the services around them, to digitalising our customer interfaces as well as our global retail network and workshops. We are also exploring different kinds of collaborations and partnerships within our eco-system in general.
Your task
You will be part of a small strategy team that supports our management team and organisation with strategically important assignments. Together we define projects depending on how we best support the management team. Depending on the project scope, you will either be the project lead or a team member. The role includes collecting information and data from a wide range of sources, analysis, change management and communication as well implementing results. You will work closely with our Head of Strategy but lead your own projects and interact with stakeholders.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has at least 5 years’ experience of working with corporate strategy and implementation, most likely as a consultant. The role requires you to be independent enough to lead and manage complex strategic projects.
You are a person that people want to work with and are able to synthesise large quantities of data and input into compelling presentations and concrete decision-making material. You are a natural leader and team player and have a proven track record of getting things done.
Experience within servitisation, change management and digitalisation strategy is desirable.
We offer
For Scania, our people are our most valuable asset. Our culture of continuous improvement encourages employees worldwide to develop their skills, work methods and themselves, laying the foundation for a career that helps the individual and Scania.
Our organisation is built on and steered by shared and inclusive core values that foster individual responsibility and personal development. The result is an industry-leading company with low staff turnover and motivated, dedicated people.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced and diverse workplace where you will be part of setting the future direction for Scania and the thousands of people working for us.
