What you’ll do
Develop/maintain strategy & roadmap for the strategic MCAD platform including interfaces to other critical platform in the eco system.
Drive/enforce process standardization, improve system architecture/design to enable growth & ultimately improve outcome for our customers and our business/company.
Through effective global and horizontal teamwork/collaboration, develop and drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and associated system capabilities to maximize productivity, whilst ensuring compliance, scalability/growth and alignment with overall business priorities.
Drive/be an active part of Governance-/User Council forums to capture voice of the customers (VoC), and translate business needs and functional requirements into enhancement requests to be delivered by IT or external vendors (on-premise solutions and/or Cloud/SaaS vendors).
Application Management; work with IT (and external partners) to ensure agreed service levels (operation & support) are met.
Provide expertise and direction into integration projects following Mergers & Acquisitions
Who you are
MSc/Bsc degree in Engineering/Technology or related field
+10 years industrial experience, with broad network and understanding of various roles and processes within Product Development/R&D/Engineering
Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and work with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and deliver results in an ambiguous- and dynamic environment
Long experience from standardization, process- and systems improvements
Proven ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for enhanced/improved solutions
Strong influencing- and change agent skills, with very good presentation-, communication- and facilitation skills
Proficient in MS Office applications and fluent in English (oral and written)
Expertise/experience from Enterprise PDM Technology (e.g. PTC’s Windchill).
Willing to travel domestically and internationally
