Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Business Transformation & Digitalisation - Product Owner...
Being part of central Sales & Marketing, the function Business Transformation & Digitalisation is responsible for the Scania sales ecosystem. With clear targets and an agile mindset, we develop and maintain user-centric applications that touch on every aspect of the sales process, from prospecting to product and service configuration as well as quotation and ordering. The applications service our business units globally.
Additionally, we are tasked with exploring digitalisation to challenge the way we offer tailored solutions to our customers. With a complex product and service offering, there is a great digitalisation potential to use data to remove inefficiencies/inconsistencies within the sales process and perhaps even more importantly, enable our customers to become more pro-active in defining the products and services they require. We strive to be extremely customer and user-centric, ensuring that our applications provide value. We achieve this by implementing pilot projects which we run in conjunction with our business units in a variety of different regions around the world.
The position
As a Product Owner you will be responsible for new applications (in fact, one has just been scaled-up with another one currently under evaluation) that will allow customers to interact with Scania in new ways during their journey of “Purchasing a Transport Solution”.
Digitalising a customer journey that is complex and to a large extent relies on human contact, is a tall order, but the good news is that you will not be alone. You will join a diverse, engaged and talented team of software developers, a UX-designer, concept developers and a Journey Lead that together are willing to push the boundaries to succeed in realising the KJ organisation’s vision - making it easy buy transport solutions!
In this position you will anticipate and prioritise the needs of our customers. You will put a lot of your focus on supporting the development team but we also expect you to be the face of the products you own, not only understanding the technical details but also how they fit in with other processes and user journeys at Scania. As part of the team you will take lead in:
• Managing the product backlog(s)
• Being the primary liaison for stakeholders and developers
• Define and refine the product vision(s) in alignment with the journey vision
• Understand and define user needs and support the team in creating solutions to meet these
Our team has a strong start-up mindset where competences and interests trump “roles” every day of the week. This means that we encourage team members to be involved in and work with tasks that might normally be outside of their comfort zone.
You will report to Jon Månson, Head of Business Transformation & Digitalisation.
