About Heart Aerospace

Heart’s mission is to create the fastest, most affordable, and sustainable mode of transport for regional travel. Our goal is to serve the market in every corner of the world.

Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Your place of work will be at our main office and hangar facility. This is located at Säve Airport in Gothenburg, Sweden. Relocation assistance can be provided. Role Overview

The role of Buyer reports to the Head of Supply Chain Management and has broad responsibility for deploying and supporting our supply chain management capabilities. This will include establishing our ways of working, both between internal organisations and external suppliers.

This is a new role within Heart Aerospace which presents a challenge and an exciting opportunity to develop, advance and influence the development of our supply chain management team.

Your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

- Supporting the Category Managers with any Request for Proposals (RFP) and the selection process (selection criteria, target pricing, quote evaluation).
- Supporting the Category Managers in the contracting and management of all suppliers (Negotiation of best terms including pricing, volume discounts, and terms and conditions).
- Secure delivery of all required parts or materials to Hearts facility.
- Resolves discrepancies between future purchase orders requirements and supplier performance.
- Identification of problem areas, initiates corrective action and establish problem resolution dates in a timely manner.
- Takes ownership of the Supply Chain Risk Management Register and present to Internal stakeholders.
- Escalation management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Procurement with at least 3 years’ experience
- Manufacturing or Engineering experience would be ideal
- Demonstrated ability to write and prepare bid documents, and analyse all bid results
- Ability to solve complex problems and exercises sound judgement based on analysis of multiple sources of information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in the use of ERP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to drive takes to completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Eagerness to work with others
- Passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission

The ideal candidate would have

- Experience in putting in place commodity strategies
- Recognised industry certification in Contract Management and/or Supply Chain Management
- Experience working in an aerospace start-up environment
