As a Buyer, you will be responsible to deploy commodities strategy, ensure project execution in line with objectives of the project and to support global supplier panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement)
Your key responsibilities:
Supplier relationship:
Support global supplier panel relationship.
Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier performances).
Monitor day to day suppliers’ performances and issues.
Management of initial issues before escalation to line manage.
Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines.
Commodity support on site:
Consolidation of commodity needs.
Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration.
Provide inputs to build differentiation.
Support Tender Procurement Manager.
Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving.
Apply the Alstom Sourcing process and provide return on experience.
Involvement in projects:
Coordinate project with all stakeholders.
Preparation and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers.
Lead project negotiation with suppliers.
Monitor evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development).
Prepare Business Award.
Responsible of first Purchase Order and Delivery.
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Vendor Management
Key point of contact for Vendor Management Process for Services Nordics.
Your experience & qualifications:
Graduated from Business School or Engineering school
Fluent English, Swedish desirable
Experience from international business
At least 2 years of experience in procurement/industry
