We appreciate that you hold a degree in engineering, business administration or similar meriting experience, with a desire to learn on the job and utilize your curiosity. Previous experience of sourcing, purchasing processes or project management is meriting.

Our team

What we do: We are responsible for the global suppliers utilised by our Business Units and workshops throughout the Scania world. Areas we work in are for example real estate investments and facility management, HR, marketing, IS/IT, logistics, workshop equipment and truck superstructure. The work involves setting segment strategies, negotiations, bundling volumes, standardizing between different countries, finding synergise between Scania product and supplier product and at the same time improve service to our customers.

Who we are: We are 10 individuals working in a variety of segments with different challenges, but always helping each other to reach the overall results together. We look forward to learn new things from you and share our experience in return.

The role

As a Buyer in our team you will be working together with several of our experienced sourcing managers and in different segments depending on ongoing projects. You will also be a part of our sustainability work, improvement work and maintenance of our communication channels. To be happy in this role it would help you to be structured, communicative and attentive to details. This because you will be in contact with many people and sometimes discussing requirements and consequences. In this role English will be your main working language.
