The Electrical & Electronics Purchasing team at Volvo Penta is now looking for a Buyer that will manage the project & uptime scope within the Electrical, Electronics and EMOB segments. You will be responsible buyer for the sourcing & projects phase for assigned projects, you will also have responsibility of securing uptime parts to our end customers within the electrical, electronics and EMOB segments

Together with colleagues in Volvo Penta and at the Volvo Group, you will take the lead to drive the sourcing, project and after market activities within your area/segments. You will work with exiting transformation projects in marine applications and industrial vehicles. At Volvo Penta purchasing, you can really make a difference!



What will you work with as a Buyer at Volvo Penta?
You will be leading the purchasing activities related to building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
You will work in close cooperation with other parts of the Penta organization to secure the uptime and project deliveries.
You will consolidate and drive business in the portfolio. You will be responsible for having the global expertise on all QDCFTSR aspects. QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management.
You will be responsible to actively drive the segment business plan in your respective area.
You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing synergies with other Business Areas within the Volvo Group.

You have a relevant university degree or other higher education.
You have some relevant purchasing experience & purchasing knowledge.

You are a flexible person with a can-do attitude.
