Job description
Do you want to work in the electrical vehicle industry and be a part of a company’s procurement process? We are looking for a  buyer for a global and innovative electric motor company in Stockholm. You will work near product development, production and suppliers along with other buyers.

Responsibilities
As a buyer you will be responsible for procurement and development of supplier relationships, working together with a team of quality engineers and buyers. Other assignments include negotiating terms with suppliers regarding quality, price and delivery standards for electric components. 

Other responsibilities include:

- Work with continuous improvements
- Support R&D with component life cycle management and new project activities
- Support SQE with collection  and review of 8D, supplier audit and other improvement activities
- Networking component manufacturers and distributors 
- Support Logistics when component shortage
- Support Senior Buyer PCBA for component price review 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role we require the following:

- MSc preferably in electronics, mechatronics or equivalent 
- Engineer with work experience of procurement processes
- You have knowledge about electronics, production processes, excel and project management
- Previous work with product cost roadmap, price reduction projects or process development projects are meritorious
- Electronic component market intelligence is meritorious as well

As a person, you are independent and able to initiate and perform activities to reach desired goals. You are analytical, a problem solver and you have good communication skills. You have strong commercial skills such as strategic planning, negotiation, and component roadmapping.
