Buyer – Hybrid Driveline

Hybrid Driveline Procurement is responsible for direct material to our clients Plants in close corporation with supplier quality management. We purchase material to advanced projects, new projects and running production for all VCC:s manufacturing plants. Our main areas are Transmission, Engine as shipped, Exhaust and EMS.

You will be part of a dynamic team of 13 buyers. We are supporting each other to reach our business objectives.You will be responsible to secure supply and deliver cost efficiency and additional value into running projects

What you´ll do

You will act on design changes within the projects.Establish action plans for part-specific supplier issues in the ongoing operations. Strive to achieve continuous improvement and increase efficiency by, for example, establishing a supplier base in accordance with VCC´s overall strategies.In your role you represent VCC and procurement towards the supplier base, and willwork with short-term and long-term goals. You are a key member of cross-functional teams consisting of colleagues from the R&D organization, Supplier Quality Management and Cost Engineering.

You will also:

• Secure purchased capacity

• Secure correct information in purchasing systems and follow-up on results and deviations

• Frequent supplier contacts regarding daily tasks

• Be part of the Global Commodity Council, discuss strategy and projects to adapt to your Global purchasing team.

Do you fit the profile?

• Commercial or Technical qualifications at university or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in areas sales/purchase is an advantage

• R&D and Engineering experience is meritorious

• Experience from global industry is an advantage
