For the Swedish Purchasing Team for Operational Purchasing of Indirect Materials and Services (IDM&S) we are now looking for a
Buyer – Indirect Material and Services
As a member of this team you will manage local sourcing for several units (factories, head quarter etc), to ensure a smooth P2P for our internal stakeholder. We are a small team of 6 buyers and everybody's effort is essential.
Key responsibilities:
• Support all SKF sites in Sweden with excellent and smooth purchasing support.
• Ensure a strong stakeholder interaction, (involvement, communication, alignment)
• Participate in and develop, efficient and standardized P2P processes
• Negotiation and maintaining local contracts and agreements
• Manage day to day operational tasks
• Close collaboration and alignment with the global purchasing organization
• Participation in local as well as global strategic sourcing projects and implementation of results in the operational units in Sweden
• The purchasing categories in scope for this role is part of Facility Management scope but also other categories within Maintenance, repair and operations.
Your Profile:
We expect for you to have a couple of years experience in a purchasing role as well as relevant a university degree in purchasing, economics or similar. Fluency in English and Swedish is an absolute must.
To be successful in this role it is crucial that you take initiative on your own within the frame of your work role responsibilities. You can make a difference!
We expect you to be eager to meet and exceed goals and be able to work well in a demanding and high-paced environment. Key competencies in this role are:
• Structured and able to manage parallel activities with high speed
• Result oriented with a strong business focus and stakeholder involvement
• Capable of adjusting and negotiating legal agreements that suit daily purposes without exposing SKF to legal risks
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in working with SAP and/or Ariba from earlier positions is a plus
