Job Description
For our client who operates in the automotive industry and works closely with several other major brands, we are looking for a Buyer - Indirect Procurement.
Indirect Procurement (IDP) is responsible for procurement of all non-production materials and services. They are a global organization with colleagues based in Gothenburg (Sweden) and Zhangjiakou (China).
You will work within the Investments and Innovation category and your main stakeholders are Manufacturing Engineering and Research & Development. You will be empowered and take ownership, be responsible for your deliveries and deadlines. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to take on responsibilities outside of your main areas of responsibility in order to broaden your personal skills and advance your development.
Area of responsibility
• Work together with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create and deliver excellent quality to the best possible value
• Partner with internal Stakeholder’s and Supplier’s to drive best-in-class levels of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Perform and lead commercial negotiation and secure that the purchasing milestones are met according to project plan
• Drive internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize the business by identifying and implementing commercial, technical and supply chain cost saving opportunities
• Perform benchmark studies, supplier evaluations and lead sourcing projects
• Create, and deliver according to agreed strategies in order to meet the company´s needs for future technologies and concepts
• Continuously keep all relevant systems updated to enable real time data transparency.
• Take full responsibility for the business and co-operate with team to achieve a balanced workload and delivery
• Provide and ask for feedback
• Create and nurture commercial relations with Suppliers and internal Stakeholders

Admission and Application
Full time position, 40 hours per week. The position will start as soon as possible, and the assignment is expected to run until the end of April 2023, with possible extension.
