Buyer – Kids Outerwear

About the position:
As a buyer for the kids’ outerwear segment, you will head up one of Babyshop Groups most important category with a mix of +40 well known outerwear brands. You will be based in Stockholm but work closely together with our office in Paris and London. You will report directly to Head of fashion and managing one buying admin assistant
Responsibilities:
• Devise short- and long-term development strategies for the segment together with the Head of fashion
• Take part in creating purchasing budgets and making sure that all purchases are in line with budget
• Take actions to meet budgets and KPIs for the overall category
• Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
• Full ownership of +40 global outerwear brands and managing/maintaining good relationships with suppliers as well as negotiate the best terms of purchase
• Work collaboratively across the business including the Warehouse, Marketing, Merchandising and controlling department to ensure; deliveries, campaigns, launches and efficiency of inventory
• Lead projects to improve operational efficiency as well as support and develop junior team members
We are looking for a person who is/has:
• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, management or similar
• Textile background and/or education
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent communicator and a team player
• Proficient in English (all companywide internal communication is in English)
• Passion and enthusiasm for fashion/production/e-commerce
As a person you are self-motivated, goal oriented and organized. You are an analytical, commercial adaptable, proactive, result driven and humble person ready for a new exciting challenge to take on. Additionally, we think you are detail oriented, structured in work relationships, a strong negotiator and like to take data driven decisions.
Start: Immediate
Extent: 40h/week, Permanent employment with six months’ probation period.
