Buyer of indirect material for assignment in Gothenburg

ValueOne AB are specialists in supply chain management, purchasing and logistics. We offer our customers services in three business areas; interim logistics and procurement consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, as well as development of our customers’ supply chain operations in terms of strategies, models, methods, processes, structure and competence.

On behalf of our customer we are looking for an experienced strategic buyer of indirect materials (IM&S) with specific experience of buying services focusing on marketing services. This is a 6 months assignment placed in Gothenburg starting immediately. 

The role

The role involves buying of indirect material and services, with focus on marketing & sales related purchasing. The assignment will be varied with a mix of strategic and operational purchasing work. Experience from previous purchasing is a must.

Main tasks:

Support Marketing team with purchasing activities based on business needs. This is mainly marketing & sales related services, such as marketing agencies, events, etc., but could also be other indirect business needs.Drive RFP/RFQ-process for both framework agreements and projects, negotiations to secure the best contracts, and guide the business stakeholders in the sourcing process, how to write RFP/RFQs, etc.Manage purchase requisition flow and set up and execute purchase orders (SAP)Vendor Master Data maintenance (SAP).

Experience and competence

The assignment requires some years of strategic purchasing experience (i.e. running RFP/RFQs for framework agreements as well as one-offs). You must have earlier experience of buying services and buying of marketing services (agencies, events, etc.) is considered as a big plus. Strong negotiations skills (commercial negotiations and understanding of contracts) is needed and we prefer if you have some SAP experience.
