Buyer of mechanics for assignment in Gothenburg

ValueOne is looking for av buyer with experience from purchaisng of mechanics for a short term assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg.

The role

As buyer you will have the responsibility of components within stamping, collaborating with buyers located in Sweden, China and US. You will be part of a global team managing purchase of raw materials through the whole process from the development phase and industrialization phase to the running production phase. This means that you will be working in close collaboration with people from procurement, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and other stakeholders including suppliers, leading negotiations and building relationships with an international supplier base.

Responsiblity for continuous improvement of the overall performance and competitiveness in the value chain is part of the role and you will also be handling order management and capacity assurance.

Experience and competence

For this assignment we are looking for a person who is commercial and result driven with 2-3 years’ experience within procurement and a commercial or technical university degree or equivalent working experience.

The role requires strong collaborative and negotiation skills as well as good commercial insight and financial acumen. You have a strong strategic and analytical mindset and are able to independently drive and perform tasks in a structured way while managing competing priorities.
