Buyer (Operativt inköp)

Description:
As an Operational buyer (Operativt inköp) you will play a vital role to secure material availability and improve performance from our customers global supplier base.


Responsibilities
- Track material deliveries from supplier. Identify, manage and prevent short and long term material shortages from suppliers
- Communicate closely with production planning and sales to mitigate impact of potential material shortages
- Collaborate with suppliers and category team to obtain the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on time delivery, lead time, and flexibility.
- Work with supplier base and category team to secure supplier capacity and flexibility to meet market and production forecasts
- Monitor supplier performance (OTD, Lead time, Collaboration).
- Develop and lead action plans together with supplier and category team to improve supplier performance.
- Manage and develop inventory strategies to optimize balance between service level, flexibility and inventory turnover


Background and Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, Economics or logistics
- Experience in procurement / sourcing / supply chain / material planning / inventory planning or related fields
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English (Swedish is an advantage)
- Analytical, target-oriented and structured approach to solving problems and delivering to target.
- Experience in SAP MM Module is a strong advantage
- Proficiency with MS Office and Excel (Power BI is a plus)
