ValueOne is looking for a Buyer of semiconductors for a longer assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.
The role
This assignment means that you will be responsible for purchasing of electronic components and semiconductors with a special focus on components that are in a constrained situation. You will be part of a global purchasing team and work closely with stakeholders in Quality & Delivery, R&D and Manufacturing & Logistics, ensuring the supply of materials and services at the right cost, quality and technology.
Main tasks:
Negotiate terms directly with suppliers.
Ensure the supply of materials and services.
Actively contribute to a sustainable and resilient value chain.
Handle order management and capacity assurance.
Handle data management related to the commodity.
Experience and competencies
For this assignment we are looking for a strong team player, result driven and curious! You are an experienced buyer or engineer with knowledge from commercial negotiation, preferably within the automotive industry. The role furthermore demands excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in English, in writing and speech, is essential. In addition, you have a strong business acumen and have the ability to handle parallel projects. You are a creative and solution oriented person with integrity who enjoys a challenge and are focused on setting and reaching goals.
