Our team 

At Software and Electronics we are now looking for a new member in our Procurement Electric Distribution System [EDS] Team, a developing and challenging area where you, together with a team located globally (Gothenburg, Charleston, Shanghai, and Prague), and other stakeholders such as R&D, Strategy & Business Owners, Manufacturing & Logistics, can shape the future and contribute to a personal, greener and safer mobility.
Like many areas in the automotive industry, there is a lot happening there! We are not producing our cable harness the way we used to do. We have many new opportunities with automation, reorganizing our supplier footprint trying to build a resilient supply chain but also establishing our future strategy!

What will you do 

This role is critical for Volvo Cars and is highly connected to our transformational themes such as creating a sustainable and competitive value chain in this role you are expected to have the overall control of a portfolio, to collaborate closely with R&D, manage your supplier and contribute with new ideas on how to improve!

To succeed in this role, you have a Business or Technical University degree (or equivalent).
You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
