C# Developer to MSAB

Arbetsbeskrivning

The MSAB vision is to empower every investigation with digital forensic solutions - for a safer world. A core value is to run an ethics-driven company with innovation and results. MSAB is the global leader in digital forensic technology for mobile device examination and analysis. The sole focus of MSAB is on delivering high-quality digital forensic solutions to collect, review, analyze and manage data. MSAB is a trusted partner to law enforcement, defense forces, government agencies, and forensic laboratories in democratic countries throughout the world enabling them to investigate crime, gather intelligence, investigate fraud, and fight corruption.

About the roles:

You will work with a highly-skilled, agile development team, either team XRY or team XAMN, developing software used by police forces, customs, and digital forensics laboratories worldwide. We work in a .NET environment with tools like git, Jira, and Confluence. This position is in our headquarters HQ in Hornstull, Stockholm, and we have a 50/50 split between the office and remote working.

Team XRY

You will work in a team with highly skilled developers, testers, and UX-designers, developing our main forensic data extraction tool (also named XRY), which is used by thousands of law enforcement agencies to gather evidence from mobile phones and other devices. Joining the team, we believe you are an experienced team player with a keen eye for code robustness, scalability, readability, and testability. You should feel comfortable around tried and proven design principles, as well as maintain an interest in staying up to date with the evolutions of software engineering industry practices. The open position is for C# development with either back-end focus or full-stack, depending on your expertise and preference, but there is also a possibility within the team to widen the role beyond C# if you would be interested.

Team XAMN

In this role, you will work together with a highly skilled team to improve the user experience for our product XAMN used by police and forensics. We are working to find better and smarter ways to visualize and analyze large amounts of data, as well as with how the data should be presented in the form of reports and presentations to make it easier for the police to find important evidence. The work is led by the product owner, who decides which functions are to be prioritized, and then the work is distributed among the group. You get the opportunity to project independently from start to finish, while you have colleagues and a manager who supports you in your work. We aim to work with a high-quality mindset, and you will test your own code and get the opportunity to review other people's code. Our team consists of developers, UX designers, and dedicated testers. Our work culture is characterized by openness, and we think it is important to help, learn and share knowledge with each other. We are looking for those of you who have the same mentality.

We believe that you have:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar knowledge attained elsewhere.

- Experience as a C#/.NET developer (3+ years for XAMN, 5+ years for XRY).

- Fluency in English.

We would love it if you also had:

- Fluency in Swedish.

- Experience working with Git.

- Experience with WPF, MVVM, and event-driven development.

- Development in C++.

What can MSAB offer you?

We can offer you an exciting work environment where innovation paralleled with our customers’ needs are at the heart of everything we do. We feel proud about being a fast-growing international company with more than 20+ nationalities where we make a real difference. Our products influence and help the Police, Law enforcement, and other critical functions in performing their job of making the world a safer place.
