C++ Developer to Tracab

Using TRACAB as a tool, ChyronHego is the world leader in creating real-time digital sports data and converting this data into powerful content for sports fans, clubs, and broadcasts. Using image processing technology, TRACAB can capture all movements in a sports arena in real-time. Our team is responsible for developing the core of our real-time tracking system.

Would you like to write the code that makes it possible to run all the major soccer arenas every week? We are now looking for a C++ Developer that can take us to the next level.

About the role

As a C++ Developer, you will play a crucial part in the team that designs and develops our real-time system for sports tracking productions. You will be responsible for continuing the development and maintenance of the software base of our multi-camera, multi-server, and real-time system. You will also implement algorithms in production code to meet timing and memory requirements by using shared CPU, GPU, and network resources optimally with respect to the full real-time system. In this role, you will contribute to your team by implement new functionality and automated tests as well as maintain code.

In order to fit this role you need to be a team player with the ability to work in any team constellation. You also need to be motivated by joining a dynamic, fast-moving and international environment?

Essential skills for this role are

- At least 3 years’ work experience in C++ development

- Fluent C++ programming skills

- C++ 11 ninja

- Concurrent programming with std::threads and std::mutexes

Additional skills that we appreciate are

- Experience with video streaming and compression

- Experience of development of real-time systems

- Knowledge of Visual Studio Solution and Project management

- Property pages, build configurations and third-party library handling - vcpkg
