C# .Net developer Maintenance Ground Support System

We are looking for our next colleague to our team for the Maintenance Ground Support System (MGSS). MGSS is part of the complex system Saab 39 Gripen, equipped with a multitude of sensors that records information about each flight. MGSS uses the information to perform maintenance and fault analysis of the aircraft. If you are a C# developer that wants to work in the forefront of technology with a product that helps protect people - this could be the job for you.

Your Role

The role can be described as MGSS from design to customer delivery. This means that you mainly will work with system development in C# .Net and also participate in testing, documentation as well as design and support. The position involves contact with users both internally and to the end user.

Depending on your background and ambitions there are several roles and functions for you to develop within. You will be part of an innovative environment where we work with complex technical solutions and products in a team setting. You will work with modern tools and architecture to accomplish our team goals.

Your profile

Since we take pride in our great teamwork, it is important that you enjoy working with others. You share your knowledge, experience and information and support others in their daily work. You have a structured way of working and your experience helps you take initiatives and responsibility for results. Since we have an agile way of working, it would be an advantage if you have previous experience in this area. Depending on your background and strengths, we will offer you a possibility of working with a variety of tasks.

You have a Masters or Bachelor degree of Science in technology and you most likely have a background in software and system development. You have experience in C# and .Net framework from your studies and/or previous work. For this position, you need to speak and write both Swedish and English fluently.

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

* Microsoft SQL
* Visual Studio
* Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps
* Scrum methodology

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will get the opportunity to work in a team where sharing knowledge and helping each other in different challenges are natural parts of the culture. The team consists of coworkers with different levels of experience. This means that the less experienced developer can get mentorship, and if you have longer experience you will have the possibility to discuss complex solutions with your peers.

In our unit, we are responsible for the Maintenance Ground Support System (MGSS), which is the maintenance system for the Saab 39 Gripen aircraft. Our unit is a part of Business Area Aeronautics. Aeronautics offers flight related part systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft structure and service to military and civilian flight industry around the globe.
