CA design engineer

In Customer Adaptation (CA) Design you will get warm and sharp colleagues who like what they do and enjoy their time at work. We are a team of 26 design engineers working together to adapt the truck design according to customer requests. This could include designing custom lighting, new wheelbases or bodybuilding, to fit customer wishes. In addition to working with the CA organization, you will also get a broad cross-functional experience from close collaboration with Volvo Trucks, GTT, and GTP.
In CA Design you will get the training and support you need to work with the whole vehicle – both chassis and cab. As we are located in the Tuve plant, you will also get the chance to follow your solutions until the finished product. Working within CA Design is very rewarding, not only in terms of great colleagues, you will also get extensive knowledge about the whole vehicle, including superstructures. It is a very interesting job that gives you the chance to further develop your technical knowledge, solution mindset, and creative thinking.

Experience and Competence
University degree in engineering or equivalent
High technological interest
Industrial experience and experience of cross-functional work
Networking ability in a multi-cultural environment
Fluent in Swedish is required
Proficient in English
