Do you want to be a part of our journey to develop buses of the future? We are searching for a creative engineer that's well accustomed to and feels home in a 3D environment, because currently we have an opening in our team working with electrical installation on E-mobility projects. Does this sounds interesting? Then we have the position for you!
Your tasks
• Design cable installation in buses in a 3D environment. This involves being a part of small and larger projects, many times all the way from concepts to implementation in production
• Contribute to problem solving and often to take the lead in it. You will need to learn and understand which installation demands there are on the electrical component that you will position
• Together with other design groups and your peers within the team you will provide the best solution for the 3D routing of the cable harnesses, but often there is also a need to find the best compromises together with neighbour design groups
• To succeed you need to be keen at establishing communication paths between you and the cross functional teams closest connected to the role
• If you also have experience and/or take interest in cable harness design that can be an advantage for you and we can widen the scope of the position
Your profile
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• You have a driven personality that’s open to learn new things and improve from earlier experiences
• You enjoy working in teams and to help each other to improve
• You use your curiosity and creativity to find time and cost effective solutions
• You strive to deliver on time, but also flags for deviations and propose solutions
• Knowledge within Catia or similar CAD programs will be regarded as a merit, experience in designing cable routing and sheet metal brackets is meriting but not a must
• Your English is fluent both verbal and written.

Our neighbour development groups with the section are also in the need of cable harness designers. Therefore an application to this job could also lead to a job on those groups. Our section RBE is dedicated to cable harness development for bus.
