Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. 

About us

The trucks, buses and power solutions in these transport solutions are developed by our designers in our CAD platform. Our aim is to create the best possible user experience for our users and consumers of product data. We put the user in center, when we develop our methods, processes and CAD platform. Our organisation CAD/vPDM, is responsible for strategy, methods and tools for the virtual description of Scanias products. We work together with Scania IT in a Value Creation Team (VCT), where we also have members from Traton and system suppliers. 

Our team

One of the teams in our VCT is focusing on Model Based Definition (MBD). MBD is a part of Scania’s digital transformation, that will quality assure our product descriptions and create capabilities for the digital thread. The traditional 2D-drawing will be replaced by a virtual format possible to be reused by all involved systems in producing and maintaining our vehicles/power solutions.

To this MBD team, we are looking for a colleague for the role Business IT Analyst/Business Analyst for development of methods for Model Based Definition within CAD/vPDM.

Your profile

Are you an analytic team player interested in understanding our users, their working processes as well as our complex systems? Are you driven by making improvements and increase the efficiency to eliminate waste? Do have experience of the design process at Scania, our modular system and CAD systems from Dassault? Do you have knowledge about Model based definition and Product Definition Information?

We are looking for a Mechanical engineer with Master of Science or similar education who answers Yes on these questions! And is fluent in communicating in Swedish and English.
