CAD/CAM/CAE Software Engineer

This role is provides and supports our R&D centers having a CAD/CAM/CAE (CAx) environment with high availability and security. The typical tasks and responsibilities are: - provide functional CAx software running on CAD-PC:s and/or servers - administration of configuration management (SCCM) and CAx software - scripting and packaging of CAx software using VBS and MSI packaging - certifying of new PC/laptop models to run KA CAx software - license management (installation, upgrading, monitoring, etc.) - test various PC hardware with CAx software configurations - SAP/PLM client installations - network monitoring related to access and transfer of CAD data - follow market for new PC models and technology - be a member of CAD admin helpdesk team We expect your competence to be: - University/Technical College degree in IT / Software Engineering - some years of work experience with CAx tools and systems - good understanding of IT hardware, system designs, and network solutions. - experience of using common office software. - good skills in English, both written and verbal. - preferentially mastering a second language (e.g. German, French, Chinese, Swedish, Norwegian). - basic understanding of project management and design processes. The role implies some days of business travel and scheduled on-duty work. The position location is not defined, but will be in one of our R&D centers: Hallbergmoos (Munich, Germany), Detroit (USA) or Mullsjö (Sweden).
