Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior CAE Durability Electromobility Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Perform structural FE simulations on ESS systems and subsystems, focusing on strength and fatigue under road-induced vibrations.
Develop and improve the evaluation process for ESS durability.
Conduct fatigue evaluations under dynamic loads using tools like Ncode or equivalent.
Engage in pre- and post-processing using Ansa / Meta.
Lead and execute durability FE simulations to assess the strength and fatigue of battery modules, packs, and systems.
Correlate simulation models with physical tests to ensure accuracy.
Create technical documentation and analysis reports.
Coordinate internal and external work with other departments and suppliers.

What You Bring:
Qualifications:
Deep knowledge in structural FE simulations (Nastran / Abaqus).
Proficiency in fatigue evaluation under dynamic load (Ncode or equivalent).
Strong skills in pre- and post-processing (Ansa / Meta).
Demonstrable experience and knowledge in battery technology.
Proven experience in performing and leading durability FE simulations to evaluate battery strength and fatigue.
Experience in correlating simulation models with physical tests.
Ability to create technical documentation and reports.
Coordination skills for working with internal departments and external suppliers.

Personal Attributes:
Innovative and holding a Master of Science degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Approximately 5 years of industry experience with durability simulations.
Familiarity with scripting tools such as Python and Matlab.
Truly engaged and committed simulation engineer with a keen interest in learning and expanding skills, particularly in battery technology.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
