CAE Engineer

We are looking for a CAE engineer to strengthen our team in Ängelholm. As a CAE engineer at Koenigsegg you will work on various analyses within the field, such as crash and durability. You will join a small team of CAE engineers working in a fast pace environment with short decision paths. As a person you work well both in teams and on your own. You are ambitious, curious and have a genuine passion for technology and vehicles.


Your responsibilities will include:


· Building FEA models
· Lay-up definition and optimization of CFRP parts
· Method development
· Perform simulations and analyse crash/strength/stiffness performance
· Planning physical tests and calibration of the results
· Communicate results, conclusions and provide insights for design changes




Requirements


· A MSc in relevant field
· Minimum 2 years experience with FEA
· Advanced skills in LS-Dyna
· Advanced skills in Ansa/Meta
· Experience in analysing composite structures
· Experience in the Automotive industry, preferably within Crash, NVH,Durability
· Experience in MBD simulations is meritorious
· Experience from Formula Student is meritorious
· Fluent in English
