Arbetsbeskrivning
Join us on our journey to net zero. We are looking for a CAE engineer to join our Research and Development unit.
At Aurobay, we are re-imagining motion for a brighter tomorrow. That means challenging accepted beliefs and pushing the boundaries of what you’ve done before. But you won’t have to do it alone. You’ll be working alongside fantastic people who are caring and collaborative, with a global mindset, and a commitment to creating excellence.
Do you fit the profile?
As a CAE engineer, you’ll be helping to shape the future of sustainable powertrain development. You will also:
- Be involved in the development of all Aurobay products (currently with the focus on combustion engines, but with opportunities to explore other areas as well)
- Perform CFD simulations of the inner cooling system, after treatment systems, exhaust, and intake system, using our CFD code Star CCM+.
- Report your results in regular team meetings as well as in written reports.
- Have the responsibility to work on improving the methodologies used for simulations
- Contribute to several areas such as assisting Sales, Marketing, and academic research projects.
What we offer
Although we are proud of our heritage at Volvo Cars and Geely, this is a start-up environment, where you’ll be helping to create the Aurobay of tomorrow. You’ll get plenty of both formal and informal opportunities for learning and development. Joining Aurobay will give you a platform for personal and professional development, and a springboard for your future career.
What you’ll get
We’re passionate about sharing our success and making sure you’re well rewarded, from pay and bonuses to the company pension. Our benefits are designed to improve your life at work and at home, with health and wellbeing support, life and travel insurance, and a timebank you can use to flex your work-life balance:
- Competitive salary
- Wellness contribution of up to SEK 5 000/year

- Additional pension funding.
- Competitive additional and full-cover insurance.
- Other benefits through an industry-leading portal: health and wellness, bicycle, electronics, shopping, to name a few.
What you’ll need
- A master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- To have experience in using commercial CFD software, preferably Star CCM+.
- To master JavaScript and/or Python programming languages.
Nice to have
- Experience of industrially applied CFD simulations.
