The Department
Electric Driveline is a department that is responsible for in-house development of Electric Machines and Transmissions as well supplier developed parts as Inverters, Drive Shafts, Engine suspension, NVH cover, Automatic Gearboxes and Mechanical AWD-system.
Department Dimensioning and RLD (Road Load Data) is responsible for the systems and components transferring the torque from the engine (ICE or Electrical) to the wheel, including regeneration. The team consists of CAE engineers and the main tasks are to analyze, support develop/design engineers and verify components and systems, both virtually and physically.
Your responsibilities
• Simulation and analysis of driveline components and systems.
• Define and analyze design prerequisites e.g. load spectra
• Participate in early product development phase as well as in the industrialization phase.
• Verify CAE models and CAE results
• Participate in planning and analysis of physical testing.
• Make and present CAE and analysis reports.
What you need to know
• Matlab and/or Python
• VSIM and/or CarMaker
• M.Sc. or equivalent knowledge
• Interest in cars and driveline technology
What is nice if you know
• Statistics
• Programming
Personality is key
• Structured and analytical approach
• Be creative and innovative, see possibilities and not problem.
• Good ability to work in teams
• Self-motivated and willing to take own initiatives
• Interest in learning and share knowledge with others.
