The Performance and drivability team is a part of the Personal Driving Experience Centre within Product Creation at Volvo Car Group. The Centre has the responsibility to ensure that our attributes, Driving Dynamics, Solidity and NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) are supported in the vehicle programmes, both in terms of customer and legal requirements. Within Performance and drivability we have attribute, testing and CAE responsibility and are primarily ensuring the customer perception of drivability and performance feel. The teams work integrated in all project phases, from advanced engineering to vehicle production start, and with field and quality issues, contributing with analysis and guidelines to improve the attributes in our cars. We work with physical testing and CAE of components, systems and their integration in the complete vehicle. In short, we define requirements, test and tune our cars to deliver a world class experience for our customers.

What you will do
As a ADAMS CAE Engineer the main focus is on supporting attribute evaluation in concept phase, requirement/method development and development during concept phases. An important part of the role is to collaborate with different parts of the company that affects how the vehicle is perceived when it comes to drivability and supporting attribute leaders with information to secure the best possible customer experience.

You have a sincere interest and understanding of customer experience and how to add customer value. You are structured and have a data driven and collaborative approach to solving problems fit for a fast-changing future with new unknown challenges.
In the team you are a team player and an important part in supporting the team to be able to reach your common goals. 

Qualifications
•    Minimum M.Sc. in engineering
•    2+ years working experience with Adams CAE in vehicles
•    Complete Vehicle Engineering experience
•    Understanding of vehicle drivability (driveline modes etc)
•    Fluent in English, written and spoken
