CAE Engineer, automotive

Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems telecommunication, online solutions and application development. You are a passionate CEA Engineer with solid experience from the automotive industry, looking for a new and interesting project.


We are looking for a CAE Engineer to work with our client's projects with Safety Analysis.
As a CAE Engineer you will work with Safety Analysis in a team that is responsible for evaluation of crash performance in our customers current and future cars. As CAE engineer you will perform virtual simulations of vehicle crash performance. Based on the result you will do analysis of occupant protection and structural performance. Different technical solutions are evaluated to secure that the vehicle meet our high safety standards. As CAE engineer you will be responsible for virtual simulations within one of our ongoing projects and you will have regular contact with engineers from physical testing and the product development departments. You will also participate in method development assignments and system requirement setting.


Required skills:
*) M.Sc. or preferable Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
*) High competence level in CAE-tools as LS-Dyna and Ansa


Preferred skills:
*) Experience from other OEMs in CAE Safety area.

*) A good ability of communication and team work is essential
*) Structured, with good analytical and problem-solving skills
*) Capable of focusing on both daily issues and long term visions
*) Interested in new tools and technologies


Start: asap.
Duration: Longterm.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable.
